Asking The Wrong Question

When Sam Ovens was 21 years old, he was broke and living out of his parents garage.

However, over the next four years, Sam Ovens had made over $10,000,000 and eventually moved out of his parents garage and into a luxurious apartment on the 28th floor in Manhattan.

Typically, most people will hear this story and the first question they want to ask is, “How did he do that?”

You’re probably wondering what he did as well and how he was able to execute on it, but this is the wrong question to be asking.

Instead, the only thing you should be focused on is whether or not you have the faith in yourself to do what Sam Ovens did.

It’s a mistake to hold off on working toward your dreams until you know what you’re doing. Instead, decide to start and figure it out as you go.

Take initiative. Be prepared to fail along the way.

It’s this change in mindset that makes all the difference.

  1. The mind is a powerful thing and I truly believe in mind over matter. And it’s not a matter how many times you fail or fall but how many times you get back up and try until you succeed. Great post, thank you for sharing.

    1. Knowledge is great and we should all know what we’re doing eventually. But in the beginning just getting started is the important part and deciding to start is usually the hardest part. Glad you resonated with those lines Bella:)
